Sarah reitz | founder & owner

Sarah grew up surrounded by all different types of animals and realized at an early age that she had a unique way of connecting with them. Taking after her mom, who was the board president of the local animal shelter, Sarah knew that her life’s work had to be with the animals that mean so much to her. After moving to New York City over 8 years ago, Sarah started working professionally as a dog walker in the city’s Upper West Side before eventually opening her own operation in Brooklyn which flourished. Sarah has experience working with all different breeds and personalities, specializing in dogs with a history of anxiety and trauma. Sarah now operates L&F out of the Hollywood area of Los Angeles and she looks forward to creating a meaningful bond with your pets.

Cassandra Fountaine | RESIDENT DOG TRAINER

Cassandra’s love of dog training began when she rescued her first puppy in Brooklyn, NY. Luckily her next door neighbor at the time was a dog trainer (shout out to Dom’s Dog’s) and immediately after the first session Cass was asked to become their apprentice. Fast forward a few years, Cass is now teaching Sarah the craft in Los Angeles.

Cass uses a balanced training method that incorporates praise, love, treats as well as the word “no” and corrective tools. The core of her training is based in impulse control which helps build trust and confidence in your pet. Surely if you start training with L&F you’ll also meet Cass’s PSD service dog Goose whom she uses to boost client’s pets confidence on walks and in stressful environments. Set up an evaluation with her to learn more!
